Job Summary

Long Heating and Cooling is seeking skilled HVAC Lead Technicians to join our dynamic team. At Long Heating and Cooling, we prioritize customer satisfaction and seek skilled HVAC Lead Technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As an HVAC Installer, you will work both independently and as part of a team, to ensure all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• 
  Troubleshoot and resolve complicated technical problems.
• Assist other technicians with complex service calls and customer issues.
• Serve as a role model for other technicians by demonstrating professionalism and best practices.
• Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation systems, according to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on existing HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation of equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and field service personnel to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems.

Experience

• 10 years of proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R principles and practices is essential.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various environments.

Additional Information

Candidates with extensive experience may qualify for a higher compensation package. SIGN-ON BONUS starting at $1000.
